I’m 5′2 and I weight 42kg/96 pounds.
Do I have to take 1000mg of l-glutahione in the morning and another 1000 mg in the evening or just 1000 a day for the whitening effect?
I’m taking the NOW brand with 500mg.
Glutathione is good for liver health and it’s a good antioxidant, but it doesn’t have a very huge impact on whitening the skin, nor have I seen much of any valid proof that it changes the skin color directly (although some people would have an impact on skin color because of the liver support).
I did a quick search on Yahoo and it looks like all of the links on the first page are just advertising for skin whitening products, but there doesn’t seem to be any viable proof, guarantee, or verification that it will whiten the skin.
All that being said, the only one that could tell you the best amount to take would be a doctor and most doctors aren’t willing to diagnose people over the internet or phone… they often would have to see you so they can run any needed tests and/or even just to see the skin tone you currently have in cases like this.
If you wanted to try 1,000 mg daily for a while and try increasing it if it doesn’t give enough of an effect, you could try that… but I would still recommend checking with a doctor. Good luck and I hope I helped!
