Is Glutathione Good Also For My Reproductive System?

A friend of mine told me that she is pregnant and she believes that it was because of her glutathione intake.. Is this true?

  1. absolutely

  2. Glutathione is an antioxidant and is not orally bioactive, meaning stomach and intestinal acids compromise its effectiveness. The body makes its own glutathione with the help from N-acetylcysteine which you can purchase at most health-food stores.
However, read this information on this site: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query… It seems her spouse may be better served taking the suppliment.
This site pretty much says it helps maintain the bodys’ health. Healthier bodies work more efficiently and do what they were meant to do. (This includes pregnancy = ), wink wink nudge, nudge).
Sounds like she may have taken a lot of acetaminophen as it is a major depletor of glutathione.
So I would say sorta kinda maybe in a round about way, yes, but that is not specifically what it does.
